Dreamy Salad

I used to hate anything sweet in my salad. No fruit or nuts, or sweet dressings. But the older I get, the more I can appreciate some real variety in my salad. I saw my coworker/friend Kris (Hi, Kris!) eating her beautiful salad of field greens with strawberries and I got a little jealous!

So I went home and made a GIGANTIC salad with the works!

This guy had : lettuce, sunflower sprouts, cucumber, broccoli, carrot, grape tomatoes, raspberries, blueberries, and chopped dates.  The dressing was a blended up orange with ginger.

It was phenomenal. I ate *almost* the whole thing.  Joel was a little jealous looking at it, while he ate his ham, cheese & dorito sandwich. But not jealous enough to accept my offer of sharing. ;-)

And so this is a reminder – just because you didn’t like something before doesn’t mean you don’t now.  Taste changes constantly! Always go back and try things you haven’t in awhile, you might be surprised!
