I was reading this post on Fit Bottomed Girls, where Jenn stated her “Fitness Truths” and I thought I’d share my own! Hers were much more empowering and inspiring… mine seem to be mostly the opposite… but that doesn’t make them any less true!
Fitness truth #1.
I need major support.
I have to wear two sports bras, and high-elastic-waisted pants to keep all my chunk in check.
Fitness truth #2.
I love junk.
Yes, I love kale salads. Celery is one of my favorite foods. I don’t lie about enjoying the health food that I eat. But I ALSO love unhealthy, high-calorie, super processed foods.
Fitness truth #3.
I have a fear of falling.
When it comes to exercise, I’ll try anything once. But I am so scared of things that wobble, or roll. I have a strong fear of falling, which is ridiculous… because usually, I am only like, 6 inches off the ground.
Fitness truth #4.
I’m embarrassed.
I got over my insecurity about sweating. I got over my insecurity about wearing workout clothes that fit snuggly. I got over my insecurity about working out in public.
But I am still embarrassed that I even work out at all. I get concerned that when I talk about working out, health food, or the gym – the person I am talking to is only thinking…”yeah right, she’s fat! she’s clearly lying!”
Fitness truth #5.
I dance while running on the treadmill.
I can’t help it.
Fitness truth #6.
I don’t wanna be skinny.
When I am “done” with my body transformation, I want to be strong and muscular, and not just skinny. I want it to be visibly known that I really earned that body!
Fitness truth #7.
I’m calloused.
Even though I wear cute girly pink gloves when I lift weights, my hands are still calloused and hardened from from, and I am secretly proud of that.
Fitness truth #8.
I don’t listen to my body.
If I listened to my body, I’d still be nearly 300lbs… probably much more. I wouldn’t work out because my joints hurt. And I would eat massive amounts of very bad food without thinking. My body is a cruel liar.
Fitness truth #9.
I love my muscles.
I often flex and feel my biceps, to see if they are growing. I poke my abs to check on my impending 6 pack
I long for the day when they show through!
Fitness truth #10.
I wanna help you.
I like working out. But I love helping other people work out or diet! I love when people are motivated or interested by something I did or told them about.
So there you go! Some of my truths about my lifestyle.
Tell me!
What are your fitness or health truths? Or… SECRETS!? Oooh

I love #5! You must be incredibly coordinated. Running is about as much as I can manage
Haha well, maybe my next fitness truth would be that I also sometimes FALL OVER on the treadmill!
Fitness Truth #1 – I will not work out if I don’t have some major motivation.
Fitness Truth #2 – I love junk food more than healthy food (immensely more) and still eat it, even when I’m trying to be good.
Fitness Truth #3 – I do want to be skinny. I would love to be a size 4 and have boobs that fit into those cute little bras.
Fitness Truth #4 – I want you to help me
All good ones
thank you for playing along! We should make some goals for you, get you back on track
Maybe after you start to free up some more time for Austin, you’ll get a good grasp on making extra time for you, too!
Fitness Truth #1 – I will go to the gym just because the cable tv is better.
Fitness Truth #2 – I am embarassed at how weak I am (I’ve been in 5 car accidents all within 1.5yrs so I have to be careful not to pull my bones out of wack when I do resistance exercises).
Fitness Truth #3 – I love to peel, chop, and saute/cook veggies, but don’t usually enjoy eating them.
Those are just a few off the top of my head. And wow…those were painful just to admit.
Amelia, I LOVE chopping up veggies and watching them cook in some olive oil. Specifically, onions and garlic. LOVE IT. But I hate cooking, so I only usually do that when I’m making soup
#3 is a good one! it made me think of a new one for me… – I love to make soup (because of all the chopping veggies) but I don’t like to eat it!
My Fitness Truths… – SweatyGirl I was suggested this blog by my cousin. I’m not sure whether this post is written by him as nobody else know such detailed about my trouble. You’re incredible! Thanks! your article about My Fitness Truths… – SweatyGirl Best Regards Schaad Agata
